Conducted training in tactical medicine

Medics of the 126th Battalion of the 112th Brigade of the Territorial Defense Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, with the support of the NGO «International Association "People's Advocate" conducted training in tactical medicine. Training cadets - civilians - learned about the basics of providing first aid at the scene of the incident.

The participants were told how to assess the safety at the scene, how to properly call an ambulance, which of the victims should be given first aid. The cadets practiced cardiopulmonary resuscitation, tried to apply a tourniquet to themselves and a conditional victim, got acquainted with the types of bleeding and the rules for stopping bleeding.
